Are clear aligners painful?

Your clear aligners will be comfortable because they don’t contain any metal or pointed edges that can irritate sensitive areas in your mouth. Most of our patients report little or no trouble getting used to the aligners. They will fit snugly over your teeth and gently shift them into their ideal positions.

How long does orthodontic treatment with clear aligners take?

Each patient is different, so it’s difficult to put a time estimate on your treatment without having first examined you. However, most of our patients complete their clear aligner treatment in anywhere from 12 to 18 months. Your individual treatment time will depend on the severity of your case and how well you adhere to your treatment plan.

How much does orthodontic care cost?

To give you an accurate price on your orthodontic treatment, you would need to come into the office for an initial exam. We’ll look at the structure of your teeth using digital imaging, then work up a treatment plan based on what we see. We could then provide you with a cost for your clear aligner treatment.

Does insurance cover clear aligner therapy?

Many dental insurance plans do cover a portion of orthodontic treatment. We recommend that you check with your individual plan to see what is and isn’t covered before you begin treatment.
