We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable
Having your mouth worked on can be an experience you’d rather not have done. That includes having oral surgery. Now, what we do here is we try to calm the patient and go over the expectations and what the procedure is about, answer any questions that they may have, basically make them feel comfortable when the decision they’ve made. However, there are some times, because we don’t do general anesthesia, that the patient would elect to, “I’d rather not know anything’s going on.” And we encourage that. And we have several oral surgeons, very fine oral surgeons that we send cases to for that purpose. And we’ve had very good reports from that from the patients that have gone to them and received work done. So, if oral surgery, although it does sound a little intimidating, once you go through the process of understanding what’s involved with it, then you’re able to decide whether, “Hey, that’s what I want to do here,” or “I think I’d rather be put under and get it done and come back for follow up at this office.” Either way, we wanna make it sure that it’s something that you wanna do, and you understand what all is involved in it.
